Join us for fun, fellowship and the sharing of ideas as we begin a new program at The Healing Way, our new monthly Sunday Sanctuary -- a community of like-minded souls looking for a safe place to hang out, chill out and just be themselves. A community of acceptance and respect for all. The format of the Sunday Sanctuary may change from one month to the next. Our first meeting will start with a meditation lead by Alexandra Windsong, followed by open discussion and social time. At the end, we'll do something fun - an impromptu jam session with drums and other percussion instruments. At this meeting we will also be discussing ideas for future meetings….format, activities, etc. Get in on the fun and celebrate life with us at Sunday Sanctuary.

Shamanic Drum Circle
Friday, February 10th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Drumming can be healing, meditative, relaxing and/or energizing. It can take you on a journey deep within yourself or to other levels of consciousness. Whether you play a drum, shake a rattle, dance, sing and chant, or simply sit back and take it all in, we all create the circle together. So come. Bring a drum, bring a rattle or just bring yourself, and join us for an evening of healing, rhythm and spirit. No previous drumming or drum circle experience required, only an open heart and an open mind. All types of drums and percussion instruments welcome as well as didgerdoos and flutes. Facilitated by Alexandra Windsong.

Intuitive Reiki - Level 1
Saturday, February 25th, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Simple and easy to lean, Intuitive Reiki healing involves the laying-on-of-hands to transmit healing energy to help relieve stress, alleviate pain, support the body's own natural healing abilities, and promote an overall sense of peace and well-being. It requires no previous training, experience or special abilities. All that is required is an open heart, and open mind and the desire to learn. At this level of your training, you will learn how Intuitive Reiki and energy healing works, the ethics involved in doing energy work, how to ground, center and clear yourself in order to do energy work more effectively, and the basics of how to do an Intuitive Reiki session for yourself and for others. During this workshop you will also receive an attunement which will enhance your ability to channel energy, and you will have the opportunity to both give and receive Reiki energy as part of the hands-on practice time. Class size is limited. Lunch is on your own. You may go out to eat, or bring a bag lunch and eat at The Healing Way. Alexandra Windsong, Instructor.

Healing Meditation with Alexandra Windsong (Healing Song)

During this healing meditation, Alexandra will combine the power of meditation, energy healing and sound as a catalyst for healing, growth and transformation. While singing a 'healing song', Alexandra will channel healing energy for each participant during the meditation adding a hands on healing component to your experience. Space is limited to six.

Shamanic Sound Healing - Private Sessions with Alexandra & Brandon ONE DAY ONLY!

For one day only, sound healers Alexandra Windsong and Brandon Barnard will be offering private sound healing sessions for only $80 per person. A combination of hands on energy work from gifted healer and intuitive Alexandra Windsong, and the healing, soothing, transformative energy of sound as created by both Alexandra and Brandon using drums, didgeridoos, flutes, rattles and other percussion instruments as appropriate, and of course Alexandra's amazing voice! (Payment is required to save your space and is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your reservation and do so by February 27th, you will receive a 50% credit toward another service or class at The Healing Way. Cancellations after February 27th will receive no credit although you may allow someone else to use your space. Any financial consideration for such an arrangement is between you and the person to whom you gave you space.)

Quiet Meditation
Monday, March 5th, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
For this meditation, we will provide the space and an environment conducive to meditation and the rest is up to you. When you arrive, you will quietly find a place in the meditation room to sit or lie down and proceed to meditate quietly while music conducive to meditation plays quietly in the background providing you with a quiet space to get away from it all and return to your center. At the end of the hour Alexandra will quietly let you know that it's time to go as she gently brings you back from whatever meditative space you were in.
Cost: Donation. There will be a donation basket in the center of the meditation room for you to leave a donation if you wish to help cover the costs of the space.

Chakra Meditations: Full Nine Week Session
Mondays, March 26th - May 21st, 7 - 8:00 pm
Chakras are energy centers whose balance, alignment, energy flow and overall health affect us on many levels. Each class consists of a guided meditation designed to help strengthen, balance, heal, provide insight into, the state of your own chakras. The first week, our focus will be on all seven chakras during the meditation. Then, one weeks 2 - 8 we will explore the chakras, one chakra at time. And finally on week 9, we will explore the system as a whole again with a guided meditation to help balance, align and integrate all seven chakras. This is primarily an experiential class/activity with some discussion to allow you to further explore and understand your experience. You may sign up for the whole nine weeks or for individual classes. Take as many or as few classes of the series as you like. No previous experience with chakras or meditation required. Sacred Drum & Chant Energy Transformation Workshop
Friday, March 30th, 7 - 9 pm
Drumming, chanting and singing are powerful ways to move, change, and shift energy. One does not have to "know how" to drum or even be able to carry a tune in order to access the healing and transformative power of the drum and of the voice. During this experiential workshop, participants will be encouraged to express themselves through chanting, singing, drumming and the use of other percussion instruments at their own skill and comfort level, as led by our skilled facilitator Alexandra Windsong. No instruments required. Please bring a drum with you if you have one. (Other percussion instruments welcome - rain sticks, rattles, etc.)
