Q: How would you encourage someone to explore/believe in their psychic ability? Hmmm...well, that's actually two questions. Exploring one's potential psychic ability and believing in one's ability are two entirely different things.
First, let's talk about exploring one's potential psychic ability. I believe that everyone has some level of intuitive and/or psychic ability, how much and how well developed that ability is varies from individual to individual. And just like any talent, skill or ability, natural or otherwise, it can be cultivated and nurtured, even in those who don't think they have any psychic or intuitive ability at all.
For someone who wishes to explore and cultivate their own abilities, I have found that there are two key ingredients. One, give yourself the opportunity to develop it by using it. You can take a class, such as the Developing Your Intuition classes at The Healing Way which give you both information and hands-on practical exercises and opportunities to stretch your own intuitive and psychic muscles in a variety of circumstances and areas and receive validation of your own experiences. Over the years, I have found that being involved in activities that encourage me to use and test my abilities were extremely helpful. Activities that have ranged from meditation, raising energy, channeling energy, reading tarot cards (they can be a useful focusing tool), and 'testing' myself by going into areas that I know are energetically charged and comparing my experiences with others, or the history of the place, have helped me not only to further develop my abilities but to get the feedback and validation that we all need in order to see for ourselves that yes, "I can do this too". The other component of developing one's ability is to work on your own stuff, meaning the more clear you are about yourself and your own prejudices, preconceptions and personal baggage; the more clear and balanced your own personal energy is; the more spiritually, emotionally and psychologically, balanced you are; the more effective and clear your ability will be. And you will be better able to separate true intuitive insight and psychic experiences from wishful thinking, projection, and just plain gullibility.
As to how I would encourage someone to believe in their own psychic or intuitive ability . . . Well, if someone doesn't want to believe, there really isn't anything you can do. You can't convince anyone of anything they don't want to see or acknowledge until they are ready. However, even for those who aren't ready to believe quite yet, and for those who are ready, being in situations where you receive validation of your experience is often key to learning that yes you too have some degree of psychic or intuitive ability. I find for many people, it's often a matter of misconception, thinking that intuitive or psychic ability is this big, flashy, knock you on your butt experience that you can't miss. But most of the time, it's subtle. For a lot of people, you are using that ability daily without understanding it, or even knowing that you are using it. Just like breathing....how often do you actually think about taking a breath? But you breath all the time don't you? Or, people psych themselves out, comparing themselves to someone else, thinking, "I can't do what they do". And while you may not be able to do what someone else does exactly the way that they do it, you do have your own way of 'doing it' and your way can be further refined, cultivated and developed. You just need to start where you are in an environment where you are supported and encouraged to grow at your own pace and in your own way. And this is what I do when working with people, either one on one or in classes, give them encouragement, feedback and tools to help them explore, develop, trust and believe in their own power.

Q: Can you Wear a Watch? The simple answer to this is yes. I can but I don't. I gave up wearing watches years ago. I would either break or lose them. And as interesting as it would be to say that I broke them metaphysically, i.e. my energy field interfered with their functioning, or something spirited them away, I always broke them in very mundane ways, such as submerging my wrist in water wearing a non-waterproof watch. Or I'd lose them because the band would break and I didn't notice, or I'd misplace it, never to find it again.
Q: Do you get images when you meet people or in a gathering? Well, that depends. I can, but most of the time I don't and that's on purpose. For the most part, I operate in the world at large on a "need to know" basis, meaning, if I don't need to know it, I don't want to see it. Apart from the fact that it's rude to "try and look at other people's stuff" if it's not relevant to you without their permission, it's an important part of keeping my sanity. Imagine if you will getting input from ten or more different television channels all at the same time, non-stop, twenty-four seven. It's enough to drive you crazy. So I have filters in place to screen out the information that's not relevant to me personally, or in the case of doing a reading, to screen out the information that's not relevant to the person I'm reading for. Now with that said, sometimes in a group or class that I am leading, things will "jump out at me" so to speak about some individuals, this can be in the form of an image, an emotion, a word or phrase, or just a knowing. Usually when this happens, it's because what I'm seeing or sensing about them is related to the topic we are discussing at the time.
